'Time to nominate the Elliot family (Mike, Christina, Anna and Taylor) of LIFE church to the ultimate "Lift-Uppers" Club. When Dusty received confirmation from God that our family should give up all earthly possessions, 5 months prior to leaving for YWAM this family obeyed God, after seeking Him in prayer and stepped UP in faith by welcoming us into there home. This is taboo in our culture as you know...and I was scared to actually combine our 2 families. With tears in my eyes I can honestly say, with 7 weeks to go of our family’s journey together.... we have never been so blessed as we have been by this experience. Mike and Christina's selfless example of Christ’s love has been such a testimony to us. God has personally taught me the much needed lesson of how to slow down and receive love. Being Lifted up from others over the past few months has been the ultimate lesson in trust and communication. It is so easy to stay hidden in giving, and busyness. But to let another family bless us has stretched all 4 of us in the best way possible.....UP toward His Glory. They have not only lifted us up in our time of need, but been a tool in furthering His kingdom Cause. Thank you Life church for teaching us all lesson of needing each other. Thank you Elliots! Christ’s light shines in this place and we cannot wait to take it out into all the world-PRAISE GOD"
