Iyi Byramlar-Happy holiday!

Aren't our nieghbor kiddos adorable?
We certainly think so.
They came to bring us goodies today and show off their new clothes.
Like we do on Christmas, get all dressed up in new shiney clothes so do they.
 Adorable.
This holiday follows in line after Ramadan and is the day that
traditional Muslims sacrafice a lamb or goat.  Then they give the meat to the poor.

Ava was sad all day long as we decided whether or not we would attend one families days events.  Amber kept saying how she wanted to see a goat killed and every time she did Ava squeeeeled.  Go figure, Amber did it all day in one way or another.  I could have done with out the drama.  We decided not to go and had a celebration all of our own.  Steak for the first time here at our house.  It was a real treat.

But, not quite as sweet as those little peeps that visit us daily from across the street. We have really grown to love them.
The little guy on the left speaks not a lick of English, but seamed to love Laurie Berkner's "Victor Vito" tonight as we bbq'd.
To fun.
We took an apple cake to his mama a few nights ago as a gift.
I want so bad to hang out with them.
Pray as I try to love on the neighborhood mamas.
