Homeschooling, blissful and draining!

Friday was interesting, we did a science project then the math, then the reading.....then 3 days worth of school for Amber Lou!  Yes, in one day.  We are cruising right along, and they are loving it, but was I ever exhausted after it all.  I think my brain actually hurt form all of the thinking it required. It was a fun day though!  After traveling all around Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, Missouri, Colorado, Kansas, Wisconson and Nebraska for 8 weeks (while support raising) and homeschooling through it all I am all about capitalizing on the good easy days spent in our nice little nest at our table with our big mountain towering over us.

The girls learned more about evaporation, and did a series of neat science experiments.  This one was their fav.  In a few days after the water evaporates they should have rock candy bitts.  They are looking forward to that!

This awesome craft helped Ava to understand the times of when the constitution was written by good 'ole Ben Franklin.  They got to make ink like back in colonial times and write letters and draw pictures.

All we did was mash of Black berries, strain them well, add a tsp of both vinigar and sugar, and walah!
This really is rewarding to take the time to spend with my girls and homeschool them, exhausting as is may be....
It is so worth it.

Then we had lunch with none other than Dusty's BFF Curtis Canada (yeah thats really his middle name...) Wood!!!  Or Woody as Dusty calls him. lol  HE was in town for business and called as we were finishing school.  It was such a treat to have him pop in.
