Here are the rules for Blessed 2 Be a Blessing: For His Glory:
1. This is a way that we can brag on our Glorious God,
and our Shepard King, so do just that! HE IS WORTHY OF OUR PRAISES!
2. Blog about your experience, (Tell the WORLD about IT!) Iinclude a link to our blog, or grab our button(ahhh, forgot how to add it to my side bar! Copy paste it to your post please this time.)
3. link your blog post up on mr. linky below.
4. visit the other
'Glorifiers"...give each other lots of compliments just cause we are children of the Most High! To be encouraged in this walk feels so NICE!
5. Don't feel pressured! Be your self and have fun, there is no wrong way to do this.
.
Go get 'er done folks.
Reach out,
reach up,
reach down to help another out and then
share how it came about,
keeping the Glory on HIM might be the tough part for me,
cause I have zero self confidence issues (usually).
and hey, flip it around if you want to,
share about how some one else was Blessed to bless YOU!

Hey everyone, enter your link:
Here's my 1st entry!
This could have resulted like so many other times where
we ignored the voice of God asking us to step out of our comfort zones and
DO SOMETHING FOR ANOTHER
at the risk of possible rejection. I seriously could not believe Dusty really did jump out of the car and say "HEY!" They probably thought he was crazy!
As a matter of fact after i got out of the truck the 1st words out of my mouth as I looked Brittney in the face were these...
"We are so weird, can I pray for you sister?"
Um, REALLY? HeHeHE!!
That night we had dinner w/friends and told of how God had put us in the path of these 2 beautiful kids.
And Dusty and another friend Matt decided that the next morning before church that they would get McDonald's and coffee and hike up to them and bless them.
So they did.
And there were others with Dan and Brittney in the cave.
They told Dusty and Matt of a man that said he was a warlock
that arrived in the middle of the night to share his spirits and demons with them.
WOW again.
There really is a spiritual battle going on out there.
For the souls of men.
I thank God so much for showing us the great need in this city.
And the great need with in our family to reach out.
As we walked the path for the 2nd time to show Dan and Brittney where the cave was,
Amber asked her some hard questions.
"Are you really homeless, do you live here?"
"Are you married?"
"Won't you be freaked out in that dark cave?"
etc.....
Brittney's responses were so loving and not that of a hardened heart.
She told Amber (trying to spare her sadness)
that they were camping and that yes they were married.
She showed amber her wedding ring and it was her fav stone.
AMBER.
I grabbed Brittney's dirty hand and held it close to
Amber's face a told her that this is the jewel that she was named after,
and that it matched her eyes exactly.
How beautiful it was on Brittney's finger.
How beautiful Brittney is, is what I felt God wanting to tell
her so I did.
I was so SCARED!
Even then as we said good bye.
Thinking Who does this????
This morning it is nearing the -20 degree marker. Would you pray for them?
It feels so cool to have been in that position.
To have met such a beautiful couple.
I truly believe that God took me to Turkey and Honduras
to teach me how to love my neighbor. To get over the fears
of possible rejection and feeling stupid.
How would of thunk?
Be Blessed YOU! So that You can be a Blessing:)
Here is my reading this week from the AMAZING study from the Book of James I am doing with my BFF's on facebook:
26 Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless. 27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

James 1:19-27 (New International Version, ©2010)
Listening and Doing
19 My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 20 because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. 21 Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you. 22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror 24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25 But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.26 Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless. 27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
